How to generate X-ray?

Publisher: Time:2020-07-02 Hits:2822

a. Electron excitation. A large number of high-speed electrons bombard the sample atoms, resulting in electron transition and X-ray emission.

b. Proton excitation. This kind of excitation method has a short range, but it has strong penetration, which is seldom used.

c. Radioisotopes are used as radiation sources.

d. X-ray tube and x-ray electron accelerator. This is the most common one now. The high-voltage electric field is used to make the high-speed electrons bombard the anode target, resulting in electron transition and primary X-ray emission. Then the primary X-ray is used to irradiate the sample to produce electron transition and emit secondary X-ray. This is a common detection method in the field of industrial analysis and scientific research.

Beijing Vacuum Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. with more than 27 years vacuum electronic technology RD experience, having supplied various end users with our special professional vacuum technology.  We have our own researched and developed x-ray tube with 160KV, 200KV etc. and Electron linear accelerator.
