CETC Safeguarding The Inter-city Railway of Southern Sichuan
The Inter-city Railway of Southern Sichuan is a fast passage between city clusters in The Southern part of China's Sichuan Province. The southern Sichuan intercity railway is composed of the Nei-Luzhou high-speed railway (Neijiang via Zigong to Luzhou) and the Chengziyi high-speed railway from Zigong to Yibin. The two sections form the shape of the character "Ren".
The construction of the inter-city railway in the south of Sichuan Province started on June 30, 2016, and is expected to be completed and open to traffic in 2021. Construction began on December 21, 2018, and it is expected to be completed and open to traffic by the end of 2023.
The inter-city railway in southern Sichuan is divided into two sections: Nei-Zi-Lu Railway and Rong-Kun High-speed Railway. The total length of the railway is 220.65km, all of which are newly built passenger dedicated lines, of which the main line of the Inner Zigong-Luzhou section is 130.96km in length and the speed target is 250km/h (with 300km/h speed increase
room). The main line length of the self-suitable section is 82.4km, and the target speed is 350km/h. There are 7 stations in the whole line of Neizhonglu section, 5 stations in the whole line of self-suitable section, and the regional hub station is Zigong East Station.
The newly-built Southern Sichuan Intercity High-Speed Passenger Railway is located in the southern part of Sichuan Province. It is divided into two sections: Neijiang Railway to Zigong Railway to Luzhou Railway and Zigong Railway to Yibin Railway. The railway from Neijiang to Zigong to Luzhou starts at Neijiang North Station of Chengyu and passenger special residence in Neijiang City, and then enters Zigong through Baima and Yong 'an in the south. Zigong East Station is set up in Xian City, then turns to Fushun and sets Fushun Station to enter Luzhou. The line runs southward through Luxian County and sets Luxian Station, and terminates at Luzhou Station. The Zigong-Yibin Railway starts from Zigong East Station of the Neijiang, Zigong and Luzhou line, goes south through Dengguan and then enters Yibin territory, passes Daguan and Lingang, and stops at Yibin West Station.
